EXPLORING THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA FOR LEARNING SPEAKING BY THE ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMAN 3 KEDIRI

The purpose of this study is to investigate the use social media for learning speak, as well challenges and motivations doing so. subject eleventh grade students SMAN 3 Kediri, which located on Mauni Street, No. 88 Bangsal, Pesantren, Kediri City. Data collection methods include questionnaires, observation, interviews. analysis processes included data reduction, organization, conclusion. obtained displayed descriptively a percentage qualitatively interpreted. showed that all participants source knowledge an example practicing speaking. 59% 80 agreed 24% strongly can help them improve their speaking fluency. also claim speak through presents challenges. Understanding difficult material without assistance teachers one most aspects students. findings show motivation using learn comes from both internal external sources.
